Mental health is nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, we want you to talk about it more!
Did you know that 1 in 4 of us will experience mental health problems every year? Whether that’s depression, anxiety, panic, or another mental health illness.
On the 5th February, Rethink and Mind charities are leading the campaign Time to Talk Day, a campaign that encourages people across the world to talk about mental health. And this year, we’re delighted to announce that it’s accessible to all, in British Sign Language, subtitles and voice, thanks to Rethink and SignHealth working together.

The prevalence of mental health problems in deaf people may be around twice those of hearing people, but services to help them are limited.
That’s why it’s so important people know about our specialist Deaf service BSL Healthy Minds.
We provide counselling and therapy for Deaf people in their first language, BSL.
Our therapists are Deaf themselves, or hearing and sign fluently.
We never need to rely on three-way communication (through an interpreter) and our success rate is 75%, compared to 44% naturally.
