SignHealth is a successful and respected charity working to improve the lives of Deaf people through our range of critically important, specialist services. We strive to ensure that Deaf people get the same access to healthcare and other services as hearing people, and support those ignored or overlooked by mainstream providers. With a track record of real impact stretching over three decades, we employ 130 people across the UK, nearly 70% of whom are Deaf.
As Head of Governance and Strategy, you will work directly with the CEO, Directors and Board of Trustees to design, develop and lead on governance processes, behaviour and performance for the Organisation. You will also ensure that the charity is compliant and meets regulatory standards and work closely with the Director of Communications and Fundraising, supporting the development of service user involvement.
We are looking for a highly organised person with an eye for detail who can analyse information effectively. You will be a competent communicator, with a sound background in Charity governance and associated regulations. Working with a wide range of people and stakeholders, you will need to have a strategic approach with the ability to meet deadlines as set by the charity.
