We are proud to have a service that supports Deaf women who are suffering from domestic abuse. On Thursday 17th June, you are invited to meet our team and find out about our life saving, life changing work.
Our female staff have organised a powerful DeafHope conference to give insight on Deaf domestic abuse, gang culture and patient experience when accessing mainstream domestic abuse services.
We invite women who are suffering at the hands of other people, and we ask professionals working in the field of domestic abuse/violence to come and share their expertise and make contacts to help improve their own services. We expect to see representatives from social services, sensory teams, the police, victim support, CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) deaf education and deaf organisations.
Please email us at to book a place. If you have any questions, please email Gail on Tickets cost £40 each and all guests can enjoy free refreshments.
BSL interpreters and Speech to Text services will be provided.
