The Telegraph went undercover and found the Crisis Pregnancy Centre giving wrong information to pregnant women.
6 myths were uncovered.
Myth 1) Abortions and breast cancer are linked.
Myth 2) Women sometimes want an abortion but the man doesn’t. That’s why some couples split up.
Myth 3) After an abortion, an infection is quite common.
Myth 4) Statistics show an increase in child abuse.
Myth 5) The instruments used are sharp and cut the wall of the womb.
Myth 6) If you have an abortion, you are 25% less likely to be able to carry a future pregnancy to term.
The above information is not true. The Telegraph checked all information with medical professionals and they confirmed it was wrong advice.
If you have concerns about having an abortion, visit your local family planning centre, doctor or nurse.
