SignHealth welcomes Manchester coroner\'s statement

SignHealth has welcomed a coroner's statement in the case of a Deaf man in Manchester.

Anthony Brennand tragically committed suicide. He had experienced mental health problems for a long time, but Manchester Social Services decided he did not need outreach support. The coroner agreed that this support could have prevented Anthony's death.

The coroner has written to Manchester's social services to ask them to review their involvement with Anthony so that mistakes are learned.
