Recommendations to improve access from Deaf and disabled people

Most of your recommendations involve no extra cost. It is just a case of the NHS doing things more efficiently - and treating us with respect.

The Department of Health has now issued new guidance to Practice Managers. This includes some of our recommendations. You can download the guidance from the Practice Manager Network (but it is a big file).

SignHealth is continuing to work with the Department of Health and NHS to make sure the recommendations are adopted as widely as possible.
