A personalised wellbeing plan for Deaf people
More Information
We hope this plan will support Deaf people during this difficult time with sharing vital information about you with the people around you. From stories shared with us and our own experiences, we know there are more challenges to communication at the moment, such as professionals wearing face masks when you might not be able to have family or an interpreter with you. This document can support you in preparing your plan during lockdown and communicating your preferences if you do need to be admitted to care or hospital.
This plan was prepared by SignHealth in response to the challenges posed by coronavirus and the lockdown, such as social distancing and the widespread use of face masks.
Thank you to the National Academy for Social Prescribing for sharing their approach and resources with us.
