“We’re proud of our connection with SignHealth through the work of Starbucks Canary Wharf store manager Toro Manca and the Jubilee Place team. Toro took customer service to another level when he decided to learn sign language to connect with his deaf customers. Toro and the district team are championing community service at Starbucks and we look forward to seeing more from their work with the deaf community.” Mark Fox, Managing Director, Starbucks

“We have been helping to proudly support SignHealth since 2008. Not only has it been enjoyable for the whole team to raise money and awareness for this charity with our bake sales, sweet shop and other fundraisers, but also seeing SignHealth develop and grow through the years is truly amazing. We are really excited for the upcoming years with SignHealth and continue our support.” White Stuff, Beaconsfield branch
Join other companies taking part in sign2sing 2017 and raise much needed funds to support our work with deaf children and adults across the UK.
Sign2sing is our well established fundraising event. It involves businesses, schools and groups all over the UK learning the words to a song and accompanying sign language. It is an incredibly fun event, and a rewarding experience which will create a lasting positive impact on your company.
Benefits include your staff growing stronger as a team, positive PR for your business and brand, and fulfillment of Corporate Social Responsibility goals. Your employees will learn a new skill – allowing them to communicate more clearly with colleagues and customers who are deaf or hard of hearing.
The song doesn’t take long to learn and we have lots of resources to help you.
Get in touch to find out more, or go to our dedicated sign2sing website.
SignHealth can provide a number of volunteering opportunities for members of staff across the UK. We will liaise with you to tailor the opportunities to the employees’ skills and interests to ensure that they come away with a very positive and rewarding experience.
“We spent a full day with SignHealth in Tooting, London on our Community Day. It was fantastic to learn the impressive opportunities SignHealth provides in both the local community and on a national scale. We were truly humbled by the welcome we were given and the time volunteers and residence took to engage with us and demonstrate their commitment to SignHealth. We had a wonderful day decorating and helping in the garden.” White Stuff
Sporting Events and Challenges
Employees can take part in a large number of sporting events and challenges taking place all over the UK and abroad, all year round. There is an event for everyone – from 10K runs, marathons, treks, swims, cycle rides and skydives. We will support you with training plans, a running vest or t-shirt and fundraising advice.
And we are very excited to have spaces in the Uganda Marathon taking place in June 2017. This is an incredible opportunity to run a 10K, half or full marathon in beautiful rural Uganda whilst taking part in a 7 day African adventure.
