You can contact SignHealth in BSL, using our online interpreting service. It is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
BSL calls can be made from desktop computers, laptops, tablets, or smartphones. They just need to have a good internet connection and a webcam or built in camera.
To connect from a smartphone or tablet:
It’s easy to make a BSL call from any smartphone or tablet which runs on Apple or Android. (That’s almost all makes of phone and tablet).
If you don’t have the app for your mobile device, you can download it now.
When you click on the app for the first time you will be asked to register.
Once you are registered the app will open with six buttons, you can see it in the picture.
Tap on the “Service” button. When the page changes, tap on the SignHealth button (a big red D).
Now you can ask the interpreter to connect you to the main SignHealth phone number, or direct to any SignHealth worker if you know which number they use.
To connect from a computer:
You can make a BSL call from any computer which is connected to the internet with a webcam.
If you are not already registered with InterpreterNow you will need to do that first, but it only takes a moment. You can register, or connect, here >>
